Unplugged Collective

Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: September 28, 2026

Unplugged Collective wants everyone to be able to use Social Studio, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA for Social Studio at ucsocialstudio.com.

What we have done

  • We build pages with semantic HTML: headings, landmarks, lists, buttons and labelled form fields that assistive technology can read.
  • We design controls to work with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a link to skip to the main content.
  • Meaningful images have text alternatives. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • We check text and control colors against the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast minimums.
  • We test the pages guests use most, including event pages, the Ticket Wallet, schedules, your profile and the post composer, with automated accessibility checks against the WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules, at phone and desktop widths.

Known limitations

  • Automated checks find only some problems. We have not yet completed a full manual review with screen readers.
  • Event graphics, photos and session content come from organizers and guests. Some may not have a complete text description.
  • The organizer tools have not been reviewed to the same level as the pages guests use.
  • Signing in with LinkedIn and registering on Luma take place on those services, which are outside our control.

Report a problem or ask for an accommodation

If something in Social Studio is hard to use, or you need information from it in another format, email privacy@unpluggedcollective.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and, if you like, the assistive technology you use.

To ask for an accommodation at an Unplugged Collective event, use the same address.

We will respond and work with you to provide what you need another way.
